THE MILKWOOD THEATRE

We are proud to introduce our state-of-the-art theatre, which forms part of The Linda Scholtz Creative Arts Centre, a vibrant hub dedicated to fostering creativity, performance, and artistic excellence. The Centre also includes two newly renovated art studios, further enriching opportunities for visual and performing arts within the school.

This space reflects the continued growth and exciting creative direction of Culture at our school. We warmly invite Danville Old Girls, the Durban North community, and South African theatre professionals to visit, collaborate, or perform in this inspiring new venue.

We also encourage our current learners to embrace the many opportunities this creative space offers.

Theatre Manager

Liesl Coppin brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role. She has performed at renowned venues such as the Natal Playhouse and the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, and had the honour of performing at Nelson Mandela’s 80th Birthday Celebration alongside international artists including Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. She also wrote and directed the school’s production of Once Upon A Musical, which was widely acclaimed as a world-class show by the Durban North community and neighbouring areas.
