Swimming

According to our Danville swimmers: “Life looks so much better under water”. Swimming can be an individual sport; but not here at Danville – Swimming is a team sport. To achieve great results and enjoy the special moments in the pool, our swimmers put in a lot of hard work, both in the early hours of the morning, and late in the afternoon.

Danville attends the A league Gala every year. 2019 was a very successful swimming season where our team boasted five KZN swimmers and one South African swimmer. Swimming starts off the year for the sporting codes in Term one and runs for a solid seven weeks.

2022 saw has bring in a swimming academy who will take over our entire swimming programme. We are privileged to welcome Aqua Athlete swimming academy run by Trace Hemphill and Abdul Malick who are both highly respected in the South African swimming industry.
